Download Huawei Dashboard Tool (Download link is provided below the article.)
Connect Huawei Modem with computer/laptop and let the modem install all the required drivers.
Close the software / dashboard of the modem and run the downloaded tool.
Click on Options -> Backup/Capacity.

If your data card was not detected, click refresh. Otherwise continue to next step.

Click Select to choose where to save your backup data and then click on Backup.

Within a few second your backup is created with *.iso format. So now you can update your data card without any worry. When u feel like you want to restore just use this tool again.
