How to Unlock ZTE MF23 3G Wireless Home Router

ZTE MF23 3G Wireless home router supports 3.5G mobile network. It features HSDPA download speed up to 7.2Mbps and upload speed at 5.76Mbps. With built-in WiFi antenna, the device can use an external antenna (SMA). MF23 also allows you to connect a regular phone to make calls on 3G or GSM.
The ZTE MF23 router does not require any drivers to work. It is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, MAC OS X and Linux. The router can be connected up to two computers using Ethernet cable at the same time

 

ZTE MF23 is equipped with Power Switch to turn the router On or OFF. There is a WPS button that is used to start Wi-Fi protected setup authentication process. It has an RJ11 connector to connect the Telephone.

In terms of specifications, the MF23 supports 3G HSDPA / WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, and 2G EDGE / GPRS / GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz operating frequency bands. It can download a file with speed up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speed limit is 5.76 Mbps. It features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g protocol. It can be managed through Web interface (IP : 192.168.0.1). It measures 138 × 102 × 27mm and weight are 400 gms.
If you have purchase the MF23 locked to a particular network then you can not use other SIM card. You need a correct 16-digit SIMlock code to unlock the device. After the unlocking, you can use any other network provider SIM card, as well as default.

How to Unlock ZTE MF23 3G Wireless Home Router?

1. Switch Off the ZTE MF23.
2. Change the default SIM card with any other carrier.
3. Plug the device to PC with LAN cable or WiFi.
4. Browse its default IP address (192.168.0.1).
5. Login to the device with admin.
6. It should redirect you to the unlocking page, if not then search option for NCK/SIMlock/Unlock.
7. Enter the correct 16-digit unlock code.
8. Click Apply.
Now you can connect to the internet.
